A wonderful mixture prepared by my friend Yaakub from the Old City of Jerusalem. It contains bay leaves, allspice, shatta and black pepper, Cinnamon, Meshiya, star anise and more.

Suitable for baked, roasted or cooked meat.

I like to make a winter stew with this mixture:
  you will need beef, potatoes, Jerusalem artichokes (to find in Wholefoods under the name Sunshokes) and garlic: Fry everything with olive oil (2 tablespoons for a pound of beef) for about ten minutes. Add red wine (about a glass) and water. Cover and place in the oven for four hours (320F). It will fill your kitchen with gorgeous aromas during cooking, not to mention the taste of this wonderful dish when you will taste it ...

Mix For Beef Stew 200Gram

  • Keep in a cool, dry place for up to six months. It can be stored in the freezer for another six months.
